Your wedding day is one of the most exciting and important events in your life. Everybody wants their wedding day to be perfect - a day to remember forever.
One of the reasons I find the documentary style of photography so appealing is that I can see the perfect moment, and then capture it on film. To this day I still love to look though my old albums and immerse myself in nostalgia. To be able to look at a photograph and relive that split-second as if it happened yesterday is to create one's own history. Wedding photography has become more than just a passion for me. As each wedding is individualistic and unique, it has become my goal to present each couple with a collection of photos that will never go out of style - photos that in 25 years will bring back those wonderful, unforgettable memories.

Black & white photography has a story-telling quality. Your wedding day is full of hundreds of special moments, and black and white photography creates an elegant presentation which is both timeless and enduring. Colour photography is often used in taking the more traditional family and location shots. In particular, colour photography captures the essence and emotion during the colourful days of summer or fall.
As an added touch, black & white photographs can be sepia toned or hand coloured for an innovative, artistic look. Infrared film, which gives photographs an ethereal, dream-like appearance is another way of expressing the unique quality of your unforgettable day.
I hope my style of photography appeals to you and we have the opportunity to meet and discuss your specific needs. Custom packages may be arranged - please feel free to contact me at gail@hammerphotography.com for further information.
Best wishes for your special day.
