Hand colouring, Toning and Tinting
I do all my hand colouring with a combination of photo oils and pencils. I usually sepia tone the photograph first, giving it a warm look that combines well with the colours.
Hand colouring has a creative, artistic effect that is completely different than commercial colour photographs. Sepia toning is a process that gives photos a timeless, nostalgic look.
